Waller Adventures

So I was thinking….my famous 4 words. Jason hears that phrase much too often. It usually follows with a big project I’d like to start (and probably wont finish). But today's phrase was different. Today phrase went something like this…“so I was thinking…we should blog”. I couldn’t tell if he was laughing at me or with me, but I figured I got the go-ahead. I think it would be a great way to remember all our crazy adventures. Look back and laugh together. Right? So let me set the story. We are a blended family. Jason and I met back in 2010 at an open mic night in a little coffee shop. A few years later we ended up getting married right across the street from that little coffee shop. We got married at the Old Decatur Courthouse. Besides the birth of my kids, it was one of my most favorite days. We both have amazing, beautiful, talented kids from previous marriages. Skye, who just turned 14, is Jason’s daughter. She just started high school at Lakeside and joined the marching band. Go Vikings! Aidan turned 10 years old last spring. He is my son. He is my bubba. He is our social butterfly and athlete. Then you have Rowdy Joe (Joseph, Joe, JoJo) our wild toddler who will be 2 in December. Bring on the terrible twos and terrible threes! And of course Old Man Pancake, our 10 year old black lab who thinks he’s a miniature poodle and thinks no one notices him sleeping on the white furniture. Yes, we notice. For the most part, we live your average life. We both work. I work nights as a nurse in the NICU at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Jason is a part time musician and dog walker. We live in a nice neighborhood in North Decatur in an older ranch style house. We have definitely outgrown our house. Maybe one day down the road we will move but for now, we are happy where we are at. We have plenty of big ideas for our house. At least I do. Over the past few months I have noticed that we do a lot. We have a lot of adventures. Adventures with just the two of us, three of us, four of us and mostly the five of us. So here is our blog. Here are our ramblings. Here are our adventures.
